My sister is planning her wedding and save the dates are happening for April, May and June. My best friend is getting married 6 days before that in Long Island, NY which is 8 hours from me. I am hoping these nerve blocks are done before May. I am planning my trip to NH to see the Pudendal Nerve Specialist at the end of February beginning of March. I am hoping they can get me in then. He said that I could come in whenever I wanted to as long as it was 2-3 weeks after the last nerve block. If I have to have surgery I may have to plan it after the two Weddings at the end of June. That would be about a year since my reconstuction.
I wish this could be over soon but I realize that it is a process I have to take and that it takes time to figure out what is happening. My Mom has the best OBGYN in her area. She asked about Dr. Fred Howard who is the one who said that he would help and not give up on me. My Mother's OBGYN says "She's seeing Dr. Howard? OMG He is the BEST in the country for chronic pelvic pain! She is in wonderful hands and tell him that I said Hello." My Doctor in NH has also said that Dr. Howard is the best around. So I feel good about that! His partner that is doing my nerve blocks is by far probably in my 8 years of doing this, the nicest doctor I have ever seen. I couldn't ask for a nicer doctor to be doing the nerve blocks. He takes his time and doesn't want to see me in pain.
I have to go because my Dad just smashed into my Red Sports Car by accient......
