Ok, so I wanted to bring something up that I haven't seen brought up anywhere on here. Do any of you wear Poise Pads? The reason I'm bringing it up here, is because it may help some of you that are newly diagnosed who don't know about them or haven't tried them. You know for example when you go to the mall to go shopping, and you get so aggravated because you are in a store shopping and then you have to leave to walk half way down the mall to go pee, then you have to walk all the way back to the store you were in and hope that by the time you get there you don't have to go AGAIN!!.....Well it got me so aggravated, especially trying to shop at X-mas time that I decided to give them a try..And I have to say, they really helped..It's just like wearing a Maxi Pad, but you can go alittle bit in them..It's great for me because usually when I have to go it's only a little bit anyway and atleast it helps to relieve some pain so that I can shop alittle longer before I have to run to the restroom. Another time I find them really useful is I have always loved going for walks but kind of gave it up because I never knew if I would last long enough before I had to go. Well now I can atleast go and feel secure that when I'm feeling the "pressure" I can relieve alittle bit and feel ok enough to continue the walk. It really does help in certain situations to feel like ok well if I REALLY have to go somewhat to relieve some pressure I can with no one knowing about it. I know it's really embarrasing to think about doing, but hey, who's gonna know and if it gives us alittle peace of mind to do certain things, then why not?
I hope this helps someone who hasn't heard of them or thought about trying them to give it a try. I know it has helped me.

I use the serenity. They hold more than poise. I am a school bus driver and the pads sure do help. It can be hard to get to the bathroom when your driving and when I have to go it can be very painful when I don't . Good Luck

Thank you for posting. :) I am sure there are others out there who will be helped by the info and may have been too shy to ask.

Yes, it really has given me some piece of mind in certain situations. I can't believe it took me so many years to even think of trying them, but I'm glad I did because they really have come in handy....Embarrasing as it may be, I wanted to mention it so other people are aware that it could help them also.
Thanks for the responses,
Kari
