He'll need loads of recognition and encouragement during this time --- it's not easy to quit, even with the help of medications.
Sending an encouraging hug,

Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of luck! I encouraged Chris to quit and then begged him to light up, he was too much without it. He didn't want to quit, so I guess I can't make him. He'll do it when he wants to, he said. Which is the way it has to be.

Brat if you live near a Walgreens their patches are cheaper than the other ones- that is what I used and it has now been months since I quit. I wish him the very best in his quitting. It has got to be one of the hardest things I ever did! Judith

Hi Brat, so sorry to hear that your husband has been so sick with pneumonia. I hope he's getting better slowly but surely (and I hope that you and Ashley are all better too). Best of luck to him (and to you!) as far as quitting goes--quite a new years resolution! Best wishes to you all, little bear
Brat,
I wish your husband good luck. It will be a very tough thing and he has to want to do it or he won't. I have never smoked so I can only imagine how tough it must be. Good Luck.
