Maybe this picture will help somebody...
My father in law was just diagnosed with lung cancer. They went in to remove 1/2 his lung, but decided when they got in there that it wouldn't do any good cuz it's just too bad. He's got from 3 mos. to 2 years to live, and said it's so bad if he wants a cigarette to go ahead and let him have one.
I'd like to let him know that he helped some people quit.

Well, we got a call early this morning from the hospital.... apparently he's given up. His kidneys have shut down and he's almost gone. It's only been 10 days since he was diagnosed, and 4 days since the surgery.
He's had 70 good long years, over 40 with his wife, 4 grown boys...
Even tho you know smoking so much for so long lung cancer is just about inevitable, there just isn't a way to be prepared for this.

I am thankful that I never smoked.....

This is so real but many smoker don't want to believe it!!!!
It is not a pretty picture at all!! :(
