Good for You!!!! You are Awesome to try and not smoke. So what if you are mean? You are doing great things for your body by not smoking. Each day it should get just a pinch easier, keep telling yourself that what you are doing by not smoking is saving money, not poluting the air, getting yourself healthier, and you no longer stink like an old cigarette! Focus on the positive, change habits, that is do different things when you want to smoke. Go for a walk, play cards, etc. What ever will keep your hands and mind busy. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Congratulations! When I quit smoking, I concentrated on getting through four days without smoking. I told myself if I could get by without nicotine for that long, I could for the rest of my life.

Then I concentrated on how tough those four days were and promised myself that I would not do that to myself again. And I used nicotine gum to quit! I have now been without cigarettes for many years and don't even miss them.

You'll make it! The worst is over.
