I have other medical conditions that can cause fatigue. I'm also very tuned into any changes in me.
I've slowly become aware that during a flare, esp. if it is NOT mild, I am more fatigued than usual.
Is this common? Why would this be?
Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure why we get more tired unless it has something to do with the body trying to fight off the inflammation, etc, so our resources are used up in the attempt to heal. Hope that makes sense.
I'm always VERY tired when I flare, and from what I've read on here most people just generally feel awful.

Now I know it's not my imagination that I feel generally much worse. If, perchance, you see this thread again, I have another question.......
Is it possible my flare was caused a few days AFTER ingesting something wrong? My husband had brought home those small oranges and I had been eating 3-4 each day for DAYS before I flared. I feel like NOW I'm paying big time. Yet it didn't happen right away (maybe because I was on antibiotics at the time for something else?)
Is that possible? A delayed reaction?

Clementines? Ohhh I love those little things! They don't like me though and do cause my bladder to burn. I would imagine eating 3 or 4 a day would sure cause you some pain! It stinks doesnt it??? Have to give up eating just about everyting good!
