has anyone flared from Diflucan before?

Hey guys.... i had a yeast infection and took diflucan for the first time yesterday...now the itching and soreness is gone but my bladder is acting up and i am in a bad flare....has this happened to anyone from diflucan before? UGH!!!!!!! IC IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I flare from Diflucan. Wish I could remember what I took instead (topical, not oral)... Hope you feel better soon!

yes I always flare from Diflucan! I use sparanox instead which I get from my GP. He pescribes it for all his patients with IC and vulvodyina.

I would recommend trying this.

i actually take diflucan for flares and it helps me. When I first got IC I took it weekly for about a year and a half. ONe thing I have learned is we are all different and it seems as though no two people on this board respond to a cookie cutter treatment. You just have to find the combo that is right for you. -Vicki
