had cysto/hydro yesterday- no signs ic in bladder, but bladder distended to 500cc

Have any of you had hydro/cysto and inside of bladder showed no redness, glomerulations, pinpoint hemorrhages, but bladder distended to only 500ml- less than normal. Also have pain, burning, frequency, urgency for almost 2 years. what do you think? This is what happened to me yesterday

Was your cysto done with anesthesia or in the doctor's office? It's not unusual for an IC bladder to appear completely healthy and normal until the bladder is stretched under anesthesia. If your test was done in the doctor's office and you were awake, 500 cc is considered normal capacity.

my hydro/cysto yesterday was done in outpatient surgery and i was under general anesthetic. Under that condition I believe that 500cc is small,but what I don't understand is: how can I have almost 2 years of bladder/urethral pain, etc. and have a perfectly pink bladder. Could all the ic be in the urethra?

They say the bladder has a protective layer called the "GAG" layer. Do you think that layer extends down to the urethra? just plain old urine irritates my urethra so bad!
