I feel like an invalid

I am in such a flare OMG!!
I had cut down on my elmiron about a week and a half ago HUGE mistake.
I have been sooo sick and in so much pain. Of course i am back to my regular dosage and i know it will take a few days but this flare is ridiculous.
I can hardly get out of bed to go to the bathroom which now i feel like i have to go every 15 minutes. I am extremely tired and my tummy feels upset alot.
My mind wants to go but my body says no.
I would give anything to get in the shower it's just not happening.
Do other's get like this with such a bad flare.
I am doing my best to stay calm and not cry cause that will only make it worse.
i would give anything to feel better, i feel like a complete invalid.
I thought maybe forcing myself to do things like sunday i had an IC meeting to go to and yesterday i went to DCF but it just made it worse now i am stuck in the darn bed again!
UGHHHHHHHHH well thanks for listening, hopefully this to shall pass quickly! Just so not fair!

Yes, I get like that even when I'm not 'flaring'...just everyday pain is enough to keep me tucked under my comfy blankets, in my soft pj's and wait for the day to pass me by, so I can get up, make dinner, then go back to bed again. So, yes, I understand how you feel!

I hope your flare goes away quickly so you can get back on your feet...just remember, we all go through this, so you sure aren't alone!!

I get a lot sicker if I push myself when I can feel a flare coming on, but on the other hand I also know there's no stopping it so I try to go places and enjoy life. Thinking of cutting back on my Elmiron the first of the year. I'll make plans not to go anywhere for awhile when I try it so that if it gets worse I can jump back on it and hopefully it won't interfere too much with life. I take Elavil also and I think its helping more than the Elmiron so hoping I can cut back, the cost is Killing me! Hope your flare gets better!

Hope today is a better day for you. Been feeling a lot like you have lately so I totally understand. I really hope you get some relief soon. This whole disease is sooo not fair!!

Have you ruled out infection? Why I get that bad I have a culture done.

Thanks for the suggestion about the infection, you would think i would be smart enough at this point to think of that.
I'll go tomorrow and get some more test strips and do that.
