Hi,:hi:
I posted this previously under daily/clutter section and received a few pms saying to post it here too. My IC left me incontinent for the past few years and now I have the opposite problem. I am hoping this will help someone....I have at least 100 unopened poise pads from light to heavy, they are FREE to anyone who needs them I also have tubs of Sween cream which is a moisture barrier cream non RX that is great for external burning. I no longer need them and my insurance kept sending them to me even after I told them I didnt need them. Many of the packs are still in the cases I know how expensive they are and how impossible it is to get them covered by insurance.

Im a single parent so I know how hard it can be and how lots of people go without to provide for their families. Only thing is I cant afford the shipping...they are not very heavy and Im trying to figure out which ship method would be best as a couple of people have requested them. If you need them or know of the cheapest ship method please pm me.
Hugs, Suzanne

Suzanne...

If you don't find someone here who needs those pads, I do have a suggestion.

Think about taking them to a nursing home or an assisted living home near your home and ask the manager if someone who lives there might need them. You can ask for them to be given to an actual person who is in need of them.

I still think you are wonderful for giving out of your abundance. :)

You know, instead of going to all the trouble of mailing them, I agree with Sharon A, donate them to the nearest nursing home. I bet they will be very glad to get them. Either that, or the nearest Senior Center. I don't need them that bad. My husband is in a nursing home and I know they would not turn something like this down.

Thanks!

Mel

Hi,
I am happy actually that there are 3 members who need them and can pay the shipping(sorry I didnt get back to you today I will pm you later today)
:) I am more than happy to help. These members are very appreciative and thats why we are all here to help each other. By the way I have worked in healthcare for many years and did try to give them to local nursing facilities a while back but at least in CT they are not able to accept for health violations even though they are still in the cases. Plus it is easier for older people to get them than it was for me in my early 30s. I will post when they are gone but until then please feel free to pm me. Hugs, Suzanne
