I dont understand how IC can just 'HIT' us, I was feeling fine in July of this year.. I never had any problems eating what I wanted or drinking what I wanted, Its just mind boggling:loco: Has anyone else have this happen to them? The Dr said I have an advance case of IC, so if thats true then why am I just now having severe problems, I have only had one true UTI as a child. Only problems I had was frequency and sometimes pain with sex, but not often.. Just strange how IC can just hit us all of a sudden..:toilet:

Mine just "hit" too but I think it was caused by having a test done. :( I thought I had ovarian cancer and paniced. Had no peeing problems at all. Had all the symptons of OC and the same day of having the test done the IC hit and got worse as the day went on. I really wish I could go back and undo what I had done. :headbang: You put your life and trust into medical people and sometimes come out worse in the end.

Leelee, it was the exact same thing for me. One day fine, the next in pain. I have no idea why it hit when it did. I can even remember the moment I started feeling that awful pain. IT SUCKS. The doc says no explanation, very helpful. makes me crazy

Leelee - I totally hear what you are saying! I haven't had bad IC symptoms for about 3 years now and all of a sudden this afternoon - it was like BAM! and I was in pain and had frequency. In fact, this seems worse than before.

I did have somewicked problems before my dx.. but they were not steady or the same problem. One day I woke up, and it hit me all at once too. I think that is how most of us are.. this is the wicked side of IC.

mine also just appeared out of no where, although for me things got worse and worse. Although it is not better now, at least i know what i have and am working on being treated for it. It is really frustrating!! I wish i had my old life back..at least my health anyway...
