Well, I have some really good news. Finally. I have been offered the job to be the Nurse Manager/Office Manager for a group of uros that are within a large internal medicine practice here. M-F 8-5 and of course more details to work out as I applied only today and had a phone interview with the offer. My Type A mind is always working overtime as per usual but it hit me that the Space Coast of Florida has no support group that I am aware of and after I have been there a while--who better to start one?? So I am hoping and praying that even though I cannot help my kiddos anymore I can now make a difference in the life of an IC patient.
Hugs,
Barb:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The great thing is that people in your area will have at least one doctor they can see and know the staff there knows about IC.
Sending huge congratulatory hugs,

Congrats Barb, I'm so happy for you!!! I think that practice and the patients (and hopefully YOU) will benefit from such a rewarding position! As an IC patient, and with your experience it sounds like a perfect fit!
I hope you are able to start a support group! You are a wonderful, caring person Barb, and you have the ability to help so many others, what a gift it will be to all those patients that need someone like you as part of their care!
You have helped one IC patient already...ME...(and I'm sure many, many more), by just being there, giving hope where there is none, and opening up your kind heart to listen and help wherever you can.
I wish you the best of luck in your new position! Congrat's!! :woohoo:
