Kara- I know you are scared it won't work, but remember they found the nerves that innervate the urethral area, they numbed them for 10 hrs, tommorrow they will ablate those same nerves, and that will be the end of urgency for you. I can't wait to hear how you will get on with your life, it will be the greatest testimony of anyone on this message board, I will say a prayer tonight that your doctor will be blessed with accuracy in treatment when he sees you tommorrow.

Unfortunately this procedure did not work for me. I am sorry for getting anyone's hopes up. I thought this would work but I should have known better. Oh Well! I am in the same amount of pain I started out in. There are no medications that ease the pain and no treatments. This is my life!

Oh, Kara, I'm so sorry. Are they willing to try again? Maybe they didn't get the right nerves that time? I'm so sorry. Is there any chance it will "take effect" later, like maybe it takes time for the nerves to stop sending signals or something? :( I'm so sorry. I wish so much you had been able to wake up pain free.

P.S. Kara, remember what I told you about marking the date on a calendar...I do truly believe that with time, the nerve irritation will go away just like the phantom pains with my teeth eventually went away after several months or about one year. Please don't give up hope just yet.
