I am considering gettting a broth culture and taking antibiotics. I have gastritis (very senstitive stomach) and reflux and have not been able to take oral antibiotics in the last year or two. I am also very chemically sentisitve whichof course has gotten worse with the IC. Since I have totally eliminated dairy and many other foods becasue of the IC my stomach/reflux is better. I am wondering if I could tolerate antibiotics now. Anybody out there have these problems and have taken them long term? My gallbladder also isn't working and I have bad pain whenever I eat saturated fats so no avocodos, coconut oil, animal fats! I am considering haveing my gallbladder removed, but worry about what all the drugs woudl do to my bladder/body!

Any feedback woudl be appreciated.

Karen,

Sorry no one answered your post. I don't have stomach problems and I'm on longterm antibiotics so can't really tell you much about how your stomach will handle them.

Did you decide to go ahead with the broth culture/antibiotic therapy? How are you doing these days?

Have you talked with a surgeon about the possibility of having the gall bladder removed? I had mine removed laparoscopically --- it wasn't bad at all and I was back at my desk eleven days later.
