Hi ,
I wonder if you have symptoms more related to the bladder or urethra.I'm not diognised and doctor doesnt think i got IC,thinks it is UTI. But i wonder about symptoms related to urethra.
I get itcy biting feeling in the urethra which makes me go to the bathroom (happens while sitting most of the time) but it doesnt feel like burning.

Urethra discomfort is very common to IC patients. I experience it daily. I believe it is due to the toxins in our urine that irritates the urethra and other parts of the anatomy. However, my discomfort does not feel "bitey"; it burns... like a UTI. UTI is usually the first diagnosis for people that end up discovering their IC. They are much alike... IC just doesn't go away after a package of AZO. (darn)
