Ultram

I was recently given ultram as part of pain control and am now starting to have urine retention problems. Has anyone else had this problem on ultram? :confused:

Yes, my doctor gave me Ultram and I was very excited as other pain drugs had not worked for me. However, I had urine retention, along with sleeplessness. I only tried it once, so I'm not sure if this is something that would get better. The Elavil's been helping with the pain, so I haven't had to resort to a stronger pain med for several weeks.
