I'm off the patch now, and now i have a bladder infection....i think!
My doctor was closed and they have no answering service, just voicemail.
The patch made me sick (throwing up) and itchy with red little splotches everywhere,.
Why do they say this drug is so strong, yet it just makes u sick and itchy???
oh no! I guess some like it.....
What is a good sign that you HAVE a bladder infection? How do some of you tell if u have one or not, besides a urinalysis????

Some people just can't take the drug. My uro said the reason I couldn't take it two years ago was because my body wasn't ready for such a strong medicine, but when I decided to try it again I was able to take it. What mg did she start you on? She should had started you on the lowest dose which is 25mg. when I was on the 50mg my Dr. tried to skip the 75mg and go straight to the 100mg NOPE BIG MISTAKE!! My body wasn't ready for it. Your Dr. needs to allow you to tell her what your body is saying. She can't just slam you on such a strong medicine and think you body is ready to jump from a lortab to these patches. Now if you been on lortab and other stronger meds for a long period of time such as Perocet then maybe??
Of course I can only speak from the way I've been told and the way My body has reacted. They tried me on the patches right after I got dx. I couldn't take it for nothing!!

Sending you hugs and prayers!!
Rhonda

Remember the emergency room always has a list of the Dr's on call for each specialty. They CAN get ahold of the dr on call and have them contact you.
If you think you have an infection you really need to visit the ER anyway as not to prolong it and let it brew out of hand.
