I am wondering what,if any, accomodations Disney makes for people on disability because of IC, etc. I cannot stand in line for long periods of time and wonder if anyone out there has any advice.

Just call them. I was there. I got a motorized cart and passed most lines. There are also bathrooms OFTEN and NEVER a line for them. They provide good maps of where they are, too. :)

That is so good to know. I love Disney world. It is fun and exciting and tiring too. Next time, I go, I want to stay at the park, not in a condo 45 minutes away. My nieces and nephews love disney world. I have gone 3 times now. I can't wait to go. But am going to wait until this scars virus is over. Hang in there. There is hope. Gentle hugs to everyone.

Hi...........I am a Disney World freak............love it love it love it.......

One thing to add is that the last time we went as a family, I asked my primary care doc for a temporary handicapped placard for the rental car.

I do not need this on a regular basis, but the parking lots are huge there, and rides in the trams can bounce my little bladder into spasms......then you have to wait in lines to get in..........(once in there are plenty of restrooms as people have already said)

With the handicapped permit, you can park right up front, and get in the park.......use the first potty available and be on your Merry Mickey Mouse way!

(I was in DW this past winter with my sis-in-law and mom..........and did NOT get the permit...........BIG BIG mistake! Just DO IT! )

Enjoy.................smiles..........

I found there was a few rides I wish I had stayed away from as they were too bumpy and I ended up in pain.

I have a tip for all of you Disney world fans like I am, if you are going to Universal studios, bring your bathing suit, have it on, or your going to get wet. Also, the dr seuss whip was very scary for me but not for my 3 year old niece back then in93. They had alot of sharp turns and goest fast. I hope this helps you. Hang in there. There is hope. I like to people watch and I will go on the merry ground and thatis bout it . I sat in the chair on the merry ground. I don't like rides. Have a nice vacation.
