I just got around to watching this movie after reading the book this past summer. I wish I had not watched it. It has been driving me crazy all weekend. Is it just me or was the movie so different than the book, especially the whole time travel thing. The time travel thing confuses me.

My daughter is a Harry Potter freak, and she tells me that all the movies are different from the books in some way. I really enjoy the movies. I'd totally forgotten about that one. I don't think we've seen it yet. Thats the newest one right? She wants me to read the books, but I'm set in my ways and keep reading my same ole same ole favorite authors. Guess I should really make an effort to read them, huh?

I do not think that Prisoner of Azkaban is the latest movie. It is the third book in the series. I'm thinking that the latest movie was the fourth book, Goblet of Fire, but I'm not positive.

I think the Harry Potter books are ok. I wanted to read the first one to see what the fuss was all about, and now that I am on book four I feel like I have to read the whole series, not necessarily because I'm a big fan but rather out of some sort of self-imposed obligation. It would bug me to quit a series right in the middle. The books do get better, in my opinion, as you go on in the series. I think J.K. Rowling's writing style changes over the series to account for the fact that so many adults also read the books.

I think I am more intrigued by J.K. Rowling's true life story than her books!:)

I watched Prisoner of Azkaban last night for the first time and loved it. Okay it did take a few liberties with the book, but I can live with that. I've loved all the movies so far and I really love the books! Guess I'm a real Harry Potter fan. :)

I'm also a huge Harry Potter fan. I've got all the movies and books. Yes the last two movies did leave a great deal of the major and a lot of the minor parts out. I always wait until the DVD of VHS comes out in the store to buy the movie to watch at home. I do hope that the new movie The Order Of The Phoenix isn't like the pass two. I still enjoy the movies even if a lot of the good stuff has been deleted or left out. I guess the reason they do this is because it would take two or three DVD or VHS to really make the book, but personally I would rather to pay the ex. price to see ALL of what I've read.

I guess I'm just a 32 year old kid here. Even My husband loves to watch the movies with me he is 36.

My children likes Harry Potter too!:)

I can't wait to see the new movies!

The Goblet of Fire was the last movie out on VHS and DVD. New one is suppose to be hitting the Theaters soon. I don't remember the date, but do believe it was after Thanksgiving. If you want to know more about when the new movie is going to hit the Theaters you might be able to find out on the Harry Potter website.

Hey Dixie

If you think you're still a big kid at 32, then what does that make me at 57??
:lmao: A really really big kid!! What the heck, I still LOVE those books. :)
