Hi All, :hi:
I was dx with IC this month, after living with it for nearly 30 years. I was wondering if anyone else out there was ever dx first with MS? One of the many urologist I saw on my journey told me I had MS (based on my urgency and frequency and other symptoms). Needless to say, I went through two months of pure he.... thinking I had MS. Here I am a mother to two small girls, thinking I was going to die. Well, after having test after test and finally after my spinal (the only way to really tell if you have MS) I was told I do not have MS. Now here I am more than three years later (and two interstim implants later) I am told I have IC. Well, I am probably the only one on these boards that was happy to hear this dx. I am not saying it has been easy (Lord knows I've been throught my share, cysto/hydro, interstims, meds etc.) But I can truly say it will be easier living with IC than MS. I am truly blessed to have come across this website. I have changed my diet and started taking Elmiron because of all of you. You all have been inspirational, reading your stories and learning how to live with this disease, I am truly grateful. My prayers are with everyone of you.
God bless.
