Stevia is an herb that has been used as a sweetener in South America for hundreds of years. Native to Paraguay, the leaves of this small, green plant have a delicious and refreshing taste that can be 30 times sweeter than sugar.
You don't need to use very much! It is perfect for diabetics as well because it has no effect on blood sugar.
I have used Stevia in place of sugar for several years now. It has no adverse effects on my pain or frequency as far as I have observed. It has a slightly more bitter taste than sugar but it has 0 calories so it's a great substitute. Good luck!

Where do you get it? In what form is it? What quantity? Price? Brand?
Thanks.

Stevia comes in two forms as far as I know, liquid and powder. I prefer the powder, it comes in a box with packets. For example,I use two packets in my oatmeal in the morning.
I have tried several different brands and I haven't noticed a difference between them.
I live in Canada and I get mine at the drugstore, they sell it in the health food section with the Splenda. In the states it will probably be somewhere near the pharmacy in the drugstore or in the health food section at the supermarket. I have seen it at Wal-mart in the pharmacy amongst the protein bars and shakes.
I usually pay about $10 canadian for 100 packets. I think it's cheaper in the states.

They are the 2 best natural sweetners you can get!!! You can find them in health food stores I don't believe you can find them in retail stores. From what I've heard Xylitol tastes better than Stevia, I haven't tried either of them myself.
