ic pain or something else?

So I am definitely in a long flare that I am becoming really confused about. I don't have BAD flares that often, however I am always in some type of pain but this pain is SO much worse. It has been going on for about a week. At first, I kept on waking up with bad bladder, back, and kidney pain, that was increasing. I stayed home from work last friday and rested with my heating pad over the weekend. I had the REAL bad urgency and frequency pain; or just pain in my urethra and often didn't even have to go pee. Now thse sypmtons are a little better but now my external vaginal area is really sore and irritated. It feels like a have a yeast infection, but I know I don't.

My own diagnosis is that my bladder is so irritable right now that I maybe some yeast that is down there is really irritating it (?)....I don't know though, I am soooooooo confused. is this just my ic? Do other people have this same irritation often? I have an appt. with my gyn. This has happened to me before about 5 months ago; this same bad flare thing then the vaginal itch and pain. She said there was some yeast down there but no infection. She did give me some diflucan and I felt better. I just feel like no doctor can really help me with this and this is just my IC, or if this can really be fixed. I hope that it can be fixed with just one pill ...but I am really thinking this is just the disease. I would really like some feedback and insight from all of you. Thanks
