Walmart $4.00 Program!

I had the drs call me in a prescripition for the pyridium.At first i had it called into CVS, then my sister reminded me of the $4.00 Program at walmart,so i called CVS, it was $14.99, so i told them to wait, i then called Walmart, she said it would be about $4.00 for a month supply,so then i called the drs office and explained the whole thing to them about wanting to save so money, so they told me to call Walmart and have Walmart call CVS and have the prescripition transfered to Walmart.....so..all of this was done,and when i went to pick it up it was...$2.60!!!!!:woohoo:
I have a few more that are covered on that $4.00 program. I am going to have all my other ones switched there! Maybe Walmart will keep this $4.00 Program!!so a special THANK YOU to the person or persons who posted about this....

Since you live in Texas, HEB has a similar program, theirs however is 500 drugs for $5.00 (or less). I know my husband diabetic medicine wasn't covered on Wal-mart because of the amount of pills he takes a month, so I called HEB and they were so I had them transferred. Between the 2 stores, we have saved on 6 prescriptions. I think that will be about it as the others are brand names.
