IC Belly

:) I have a question. I am I am in the middle of a flare and my belly is sooooo swollen. I look like I am 8 months pregnant. This is fairly common for me. I wouldnt think that the top of my belly would be so swollen, just down lower.But, it starts right under my rib cage.Is this fairly common?:) Thanks of any input.

mine is not swollen that far up. my lower abdomen is distended, esp. the left side. i get spasms all day, and it looks like a baby kicking (on my left side). i wasn't like this when i was 6 mos. pregnant. i haven't b een told why it's only on left? my friend has same thing...on left. ???
