I was diagnosed with IC about 6 years ago but it "went away" until yesterday! I don't know much about it...am reading lots on this site...and now I am scared that I won't be able to lead a normal, pain free life. I have an 18 month old that I worry about IC cheating him out of a full time parent and that thought just brings me to tears. My flare started after I moved large furniture and then my back hurt and I didn't drink enough water. How long do flares last anyway? I hate this, I feel like such a failure. First IBS then migraines then Fibro now IC. Is there any hope?
