this is all so new to me,diagonosed several months ago with ics and having many many problems,i am in pain all the time,also diagnosed with nerve damage in my backso i feel like i got a double whammy,all the doc visits,too many to count,even been to the pain clinics,all the meds they give me is unreal,sometimes i think they think i am crazy,cant sleep at night,hurt all day,am a newlywed to boot luckily i have a very understanding hubby,this has effected us in all ways,i just started on the fentynl patch 25mg last nite,didnt help much,so i wonder if i can take at least a half of my vikes,but doc says no,i am so tired and worn out,havent worked in almost 2 years because of all these problems,can someone tell me how to cope,i am sick of taking meds,but what else can i do,i am having surgery on nov.30 so we will see if it helps,in the meantime the doc put me on the pain patch,wonder if this was the right thing to do?i dont know anymore,any input would be great!i am tempted to take a half of my vike right now,it has been a long night and i still hurt even with the patch on,help!

It sounds like you are going through a really tough time. . . I can relate to being in pain constantly. . . I am currently going through the same thing. .. But, I think you've come to the right place. . . I have found that people on here are very supportive and can offer suggestions and ideas that may help with your pain.
