The ICN sells IC Awareness bracelets for just three dollars. They are quite similiar to the yellow LiveStrong that Lance Armstrong made popular a few years ago, but they are white, and have "IC AWARNESS" written in teal. Basically, our own version of the LiveStrong bracelet trend :)

Here's the link: http://icnshop.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl?command=goto&file=Awareness_Bracelets.html

I bought three when they first came out; one for me, one for my mother, and one for another woman I know who also has IC. If you get one, be sure you take the braclet out of the bag and let it sit overnight before you wear it or get it wet. That gives it a chance to dry out completely.

yes their cool I have two of them. My daughter pretty much took them over, but at least her friends and even teacher has ask what it stood for? My daughter has been able to learn her friends and teacher a bit of a lesson they knew nothing about. Matter of fact one teacher ask could she call me to ask some question after my daughter told her it was a bladder disease and a bit about it. After her teacher and I talked a bit about it. She was able to have some test done by her Dr. to find out she in deed had IC. she was so thankful to find out what was wrong with her! Just by my daughter having it own. A teacher was able to find out what her problem was and seek out treatment. the last I heard she was doing rather well with her treatments, and school days are much more enjoyable for her once again.

I read into your post differently I guess...I thought you wanted a medical bracelet....they do sell them in pharmacies or jewely kiosks at the mall for about $16-$18...

Its the engraving that costs way more...I had to list "no MRI, electromagnetic, or diathermy" in case I couldb't speak for myself....allergies I did not list.

I have engraving on both sides....but mostly people don't ever read it....they just see the caduceus and figure I really am sick and don't question it :)
