Macrobid after intercourse

So, my Uro put me on macrobid at my last appointment. I don't have to take it daily only after intercourse. She said that she thinks that I may be having flares from getting little infections evertime I have sex. She also said that she has put a lot of women who are on the pill on Macrobid for this same reason. Has anyone else tried this? It seems to help me. I actually feel much better the day after I take one of the pills. I guess that at the very least its upped my libido:)

I take it and I have noticed that I feel a a little bit better after taking one pill as well. I also take it after doing home instills because I was forever giving myself infections. I dont think you're imagining things and the upped libido is a major plus! :)

You may want to also ask your partner to get tested. It is possible for a man to pass an infection that isn't causing him any symptoms back to you....it just may help lesson the chance of you getting reinfected even more. :grouphug:
