Think I'll get the implant

At this point I think I'll ask for the implant at tomorrow's meeting with the uso. My symptom improvement is minor (over when I was on my meds), but I'm hoping that if I add back in the meds they will add together. My sleep quality has not improved, so I'm bummed about that because that's the whole reason I even bothered trying. I want to get the implant & go back on meds, & then try to decide what to do next in terms of treatment.

The Static Guard turned out to improve the behavior of my stimulator box a great deal, so I do believe that it was static electricity causing it to shut off. Go figure.

Hi Ryjoon, I had no idea that static would make a difference and that static gaurd would help (who knew?)? Thanks for letting us know. Maybe with the addition of meds again your sleep will improve some. Lots of luck. I never knew that about the static guard, either.

Ryoon---------I had the interstim implant in 9/02.
Before that i had been on all the meds which hadn't worked. The implant itself didn't work either, BUT I have found wonderful results using Detrol LA with the implant. I hope it works for you. Give it a try!
