Do anti-histamines make anyone else dead tired. I only take half of the tiny, tiny pill but it completely puts me out in less than 10 minutes. Thanks to the limiting IC diet, I've lost a lot of weight and am 5'6'' and 97 pounds currently. I love the positive effects of taking this pill for my IC, but I don't know if I can deal with this tired feeling that lasts all day.

Hi there! Unfortunately antihistamines often cause drowsiness. I usually take my antihistamine at night - and give myself enough time to sleep.
It sounds like you have lost a lot of weight. 97 Pounds at your height is pretty low. You might want to see a dietician that is familiar with IC that can help you eat the right foods to maintain a healthy weight. I'm sure it must be frustrating for you.
I hope you are feeling better soon!

I totally agree that you need some help with diet. There are many foods you can have that will help you get back some of that weight. I'm on an IC diet and I have a constant problem being overweight!
There are a couple of excellent books available in the ICN Shop that should help you:
"A Taste of the Good Life" and "Confident Choices." Both were written by IC patients and should help you develop a healthy, IC-safe, diet.
Good luck!

I only take my antihistamines at night also. They knock me out. I try to take everything at about 8 or so and by 10, I'm ready for bed. I don't think I could function if I took them during the day. Even taking them at night I'm a bit drowsy in the morning, but I think eventually you get used to most of that.
