smell?

Does anyone get a funky smell when they are in a flare-up coming from down there? I know its kind of gross, but I think its related.

I have noticed that my urine is very, very strong smelling on occasion, especially when I'm hurting bad. No other funky smells, though. :)

I always do when I'm flaring. Several of us call it the IC-pee smell. Not all IC'ers have that odd smell to their urine, though - generally only those of us with more severe cases.

If you're not drinking enough water, the urine will become concentrated and smell stronger. I haven't noticed odor when I'm flaring unless the flare is from not drinking enough.

I notice when I am having a bad flare that I smell a funny smell. I try to drink lots of water especially during my flare times. I also have noticed that my pee feels very hot. Maybe it is aways warm, just because I am pushing it out that it actually is hitting my skin. I didn't know if the smell was from my meds or not.

I also get a funny smell sometimes, and I drink plenty of water. I've also had what feels like very hot pee. I don't know if these were associated with a flare or not.
