well when I joined thier were about 13,187 people now there are 13,760 people man a whole lot in a months time. that's not counting people who don't have internet. I went to my gyno/uro and a girl that worked there as a nurse is having the same problem as us. I wonder if something in our food or water is poisoning us by terrorist or something. Far fetched but our symptoms seem so much more worse than old time icer's. but then again I could be wrong.

We do have a lot of new people --- but we've also experienced a "rash" of spammers registering.

I believe that there may be people that were here years ago. They may have forgotten there screen name and registered again.

OMG That's a new theory! Also several people have registered in years past with more then 1 IDfor 1 reason or another, so that brings the numbers up also. I think that is a small fraction of IC patients according to stats on the # of people with IC. I agree that enviromental issues may play a small part in aggravating IC but find it highly unlikely that it is terrorist related. Good thing to blame it on though :smile tee

That could be true too.

This is a new one :D
Well, I think that newbies' symptoms often seem worse because they haven't found treatments to help them yet. Also, I think that, the older the ICN gets, the more well-known it becomes. ICers refer their friends to the ICN, more search engines have it listed, more websites link to it, and so on. That may be why there are so many new members.
On the other hand, if we could convince the government that IC is the result of terrorists attacking America using biological warfare, I bet they'd find the cure a whole lot faster :evilsmile

Hey At least I put a smile on your face today. I know that's hard to come by sometimes.
