Prostatic Discharge

One question for IC guys.

Since I developed IC symptoms I get prostatic discharge from time to time. It is white-cloudy colour. Do you ever get that? Does it mean anything?

For sure bring all symptoms to the attention of your doctor.
Us women will get white flesh looking discharge in our urine...believed to be pieces of the lining of the bladder. In all my research of IC in men I have not heard of this so I would be interested in finding out what turns up. I sure hope you get an answer :grouphug:

Hi Alan,

I was diagnosed with IC back in March and I have not had any discharge except when I had a real bad UTI in June. I was in the hospital 4 days and after I got out and went to see my uro in his office he performed a prostate exam and I had a white discharge while he was moving his fingers over my prostate. He collected the discharged and it was due to the infection which gotten to my prostate. Ask your uro as soon as possible about it.

Thanks for that GGomez (and others). Unfortunately I’ll have to wait for my urologist as he is very busy man and I can’t get an appointment very soon. I may ask my GP to get a sample and send for an analysis.
