Hi! I'm an IC newbie kinda, I've had it for 2 years but just got diagnosed this summer. Anyway, I was wondering...does anyone get chills when urinating? I get this usually when the pain is really bad. I also just get goosebumps when I'm feeling down from IC, nauseaus, headache, or burning. Am I the only one on this?

I am new as well just got diagnosed this month but have had symptoms for 6. I get all these. the headaches just came though yesterday and they are bad. nausea sometimes as well as burning.
are you on any treatment

The only time I get chills when/right after urination is when I have an active infection. Have you gotten checked for infection? I keep some of the at home UTI kits to test at home for infection...

When my IC pain level was really bad, I did sometimes get nauseated from the pain. (And then from the Darvocet I'd take to get rid of the pain.)

Hi, glad you can join us. The answer to your question, yes I get chills also. Especially if my body is drained from IC and seems that I cannot get enough energy to do anything.

The chills when urinating, or immediately after urinating, can be a sign of an infection. If you haven't been checked to rule that out, you really should be.

Yes I do get chills from time to time, especially when I have to urinate, and the longer that I hold it. You are not alone!!!!!!
