weight gain??

I'm on elavil and celebrex and codine... has anybody gained weight since they started their medication? I've gained some weight and I think it's the elavil. The med is working, but it makes me really hungry. haha Wierd side affect? or do you feel the same?

I took Elavil from March to September of this year and gained 20 lbs. I tried everything to get the weight off and to no avail.

I stopped the Elavil and have lost about 7 lbs so far.

It's the Elavil.

I told my doctor that I stopped taking it for that reason and his reply was, "Yeah, some people do gain weight on that drug". I thought, gee, thanks for telling me!!!!:cussing:

My hunger was out of control on the Elavil. I had to stop it because I actually became depressed on it. It did help with the pain though but just made me way to mean to be able to continue on it. No matter what I could never get enough to eat!
