Insurance cost

Glad I have insurance! In order to have any procedure, I have to be off my coumadin for so many days, plus I have to be on Lovenox, (which is an injection- twice a day - for x amount of days before and after each procedure). Depending on the number of injections, like this time around its 20, the cost would be almost $1000.00 (I almost fainted!!) Thankfully, all I had was my co-pay of $25.00. I told a co-worker, that when our insurance went up this past month, I don't care, as long as I have it.

I'm right there with you on the 'glad i have insurance' statement! Its sad to think that so many people are having to pay out of pocket for medications and/or procedures, or worse, have to go without.
