Very condensed version of me and my dilemma
:cussing: :bonk: :cussing: :bonk: :cussing: :bonk:
I'm 22 w/ IC
I worked part time @ a company as a receptionist in the afternoons
I went to school full time in the mornings
In August, my IC got soo bad I had to drop out of school
I missed one week of work (HR and everyone knew about my condition blah blah blah) but they fired me anyways.
Now I collect unemployment (embarrassing, but I really can't work until I feel better, i am not going to mess w/ my health)
Because I was in school full time, I had insurance thru my dad's company (united airlines).
Well I guess my Insurance co just found out I wasn't in school full time b/c they dropped me.
Its so unfair. Insurance is supposed to help you when you're sick...not DROP you. I can't work (yet) and I can't go to school until January. What am I supposed to do for insurance? I scheduled a CMG and urodynamics and now there is no way I'm paying out of pocket. I'm getting 132 a week from the state of Illinois, I'm not complaining, but thats not going to be enough to see whats wrong w/ me.
Does anyone know about insurance plans I could buy on a month to month basis?
Jen
