O.k. so I went to pick up my sister and brother from in n out when they got out of work. Thier burgers are pretty safe 100% pure beef from harris ranch. THey use the filet of the steak so you don't have to get it well done. wrapped it in a lettuce wrap instead of the buns. Called the 1 800 number and their buns have asorbic acid so Im glad I only had a lettuce wrap. Thier fries are cut fresh so no preservative like the other fast food restaurants. cooked in cottonseed and vegetable oil. Made a mistake on the 100% real vanill ice cream shake. talked to 1 800 about this and it contains soy protein concentrate ugh. so if your from west coast and want a burger wrap and fries this is a pretty good place.

Hi Lisa,
I'm pretty diet sensitive, but have eaten a plain burger (lettuce & bun only), french fries, & vanilla shake from In & Out. (Actually, just did this last Tuesday night!) There must not be much of those substances in the food, because I have soy allergy in addition to the IC & I didn't have any problem-- no flare & no rash, either.
I do take Prelief whenever I order a burger because of the ascorbic acid most places have in the buns & that seems to manage it fine. My mom has IC also & has had a burger & fries there. She also has had no problem.
Anyhow, you're very right! This is a very good restaurant, the food is tasty, minimally processed compared to most fast food places, & they actually pay their employees a living wage (also unlike most fast food places)! I'm always happy when I find a restaurant I like & that my bladder doesn't complain about later:)

Not sure of the ingredients but I tolerate the Ckn snack wrap at McDonalds well. But be sure to ask them to HOLD the ranch sauce.
The sauce will cause a flare.

Do you have a Chicago Grill (formerly Pizzeria Uno)? They have a little computer when you walk in and all of their ingredients are listed. :woohoo:
My mom and I can go their together (she has Celiac and I have IC & Endo). We can both find something that we can eat. Wish more restaurants made it that easy!
I like Subway (get the plain roast beef or turkey sub-no condiments, lettuce, bell pepper, carrots).
Also Fresh Choice or Sweet Tomatoes - salad buffet, baked potatoes, cornbread, vanilla soft serve
Carrows restaurant for a burger & fries or an egg breakfast with hashbrowns, toast.
Fuddruckers for salad with plain grilled chicken, ranch dressing on side (with Prelief) or plain unseasoned burger, unseasoned fries, vanilla shake
