View Full Version : Anyone Take Tramadol (Ultram) with an SSRI?

Hi all,
Since it seems to be so difficult to obtain narcotic pain meds to control our pain, I was thinking of trying Ultram. My only obstacle is that "they" say that it cannot be taken with an SSRI (zoloft in particular). Does anyone here have any experience taking ULTRAM with an SSRI?

Hmmmm...well, I'm taking Ultram with a different antidepressant (Wellbutrin) and doing fine....

Thanks for the response. I just used the drug interaction checker and there are no listed interactions for wellbutrin and ultram so you are in the clear! Although I know that the interaction checker advises against the use of zoloft with ultram, I know that those data bases probably err on the side of caution (hopefully). Just wondered what any personal experiences might have been. Have a great week and feel well!!
