Hey guys,

I just had a scary little moment. I have been in a flare for about a week now, and admittedly I haven't been taking as good of care of my body and bladder as I should as far as diet goes. I've had a lot of frequent urination the past several days. I've also felt very bloated. When I woke up this morning I peed what felt like full bladder capacity 4 times in two hours after not drinking a lot of fluids last night. This afternoon I know I should have tried to drink a lot of water to rehydrate myself, but I laid around. I got up to go the the bathroom and felt like I was going to faint while I was peeing. I felt like I could barely keep myself awake walking to the phone. It scared me and caused an anxiety attack so I called my dad to come over, and then sat down. Since then I've been drinking tons of water. Do you guys think I just let myself get dehydrated? I'm just a little concerned and wanted some opinions. Thank you for any help!!!

Hi, I know sometimes I feel faint because my blood pressure dropped. Or because I am not getting enough sleep. Your medication can also cause this to happen especially if you are taking more pain pills because of the flare, if you don't allow yourself plenty of rest it can cause you to feel this way.

If it seem to be really serious I would talk with your doctor to make sure it is not something else.

Hope you start feeling better soon
Hugs, Trishann

This is a question only your doctor can and should answer. We're just not qualified to give you medical advice like this. Please call your doc and if it hapens again... go to the ER. It would certainly upset me and the only time I ever felt that bad while urinating was when I had a severe UTI that I thought was a flare... leaving it untreated for about 10 days. I learned my lesson the hard way.

:grouphug: Hope your doing better soon. I deal with dizziness a lot and late night bathroom trips, with meds in me, and being prone to dehyration is my problem. It is no fun and I have learned to crawl to the bathroom when like this. You need to talk to your doctor about what is the cause with you just incase. I see iron on your list of meds...and that is one of contributors as well...iron deficiency...:grouphug:

Definitely let your doctor know at your next appointment that this happened. And if you have another episode, call immediately --- or go to emergency room.

This is definitely a "go to the doc" or ER issue. Please go if it happens again. Feeling faint suddenly can be a lot of things...

Thanks for all your help, guys.

Well, today I've been dizzy all day off and on. I also developed a sore throat, sneezing, a headache, fever and chills (the exact symptoms my boyfriend had last week, along with dizziness)

I'm betting its an inner-ear thing due to a bug.

Thanks for all the corncern, though. And if it persists for a long time or worsens, I'll be sure to see someone about it :)
