my name is amy and i'm a newbie to this website, but not a newbie to ic. i've had it for about 4 years now, but was recently diagnosed. it was a very rough road to get a correct diagnosis. i've been taking elmiron and it has changed my life substantially. (i posted in the elmiron section before this one.) the newbie tips are really great. i need to get one of those cushions to sit on! before i was diagnozed, i thought i was going crazy because no one could help me and everyone around me had no clue about bladder problems. it's comforting to come to a site and read other peoples' experiences. thanks
