my four yro son had blood in urine for the second time and no bladder infection. I am taking him to my uro in the morning. I called my uro on saturday and he told me to bring him in first thing monday morning. I am worried bc i have ic and i don't won't him to have it. i was worried about him i had been watching him for several days he had been urinating freq. and then i decided to take him to the doc. it wasn't his regular doc i took him to a local clinic and they tested his urine and it was clean. just blood in it they did a acu chk on his finger to test his sugar an it was perfect and they suggested that i take him to a uro so i said i would take him to mine. my doc said he would do a ultra sound in the office. I hope and pray he doesn't want to do a clean catch i am not going to let him. my husband is like he hasn't pped alot today and i am like well it comes and goes if he has ic. if people don't have it they don't understand. he also thinks i am negative and doesn't want to take him to my uro he wants him to go to his pedi. we just had blood work done down there last week and nothing showed up he had a sinus infection and they took a cbc and tested for some allergies i haven't heard bk from the allergy test yet. but the cbc was fine so what is my pedi going to tell me? I want to rule this out first. I hope and pray it is just a kidney infection etc... i will have my uro fax or send his pedi a copy of this to him so he will know. i do have alot of confidence in him well both of them and this is my life i would rather have IC 5x worse than my son have it. He doesn't drink any soda pop or hardly any juice etc... he only drinks milk, decaf tea and water so i think he is good on that. oh well someone please give me some thumbs up. :(
