IC and Kidneys?

I went to my urologist friday and during the exam he felt my kidney and i just about kicked him. His response to that was " wow, that's definatly not normal!' So today at my gyno's, while I was having an ultrasound done on my ovaries for cysts, they went ahead and checked my kidneys. She said that my kidney was full of fluid or somthing, but I'm not quite sure what that means. I'm hoping to get a heads up before tomorrow visit! If anyone might know what this means, like whether it means it's inflamed or whatnot, could you let me know!!! Thanky much!

Hmmm. Could be inflammation, for sure, since inflammation can cause fluid-buildup wherever it is. However, what's causing the problem is a mystery and your best bet will be to discuss it with your doctor tomorow. Good luck :grouphug: and I hope it turns out to be something easily fixable.
