I'm so thankful for a wonderful weekend!

Because of the astronomical cost of gasoline, our motor home has been parked in the barn for many months. We finally decided, since the per gallon price was down to $2.49, that we would spend a long weekend at the beach. We picked a good one! The weather was absolutely beautiful! We were able to walk on the beach, my daughter and I went shopping at the outlet center in Lincoln City, Oregon, and we were even able to cook outside one evening. We had intended to come home yesterday, but since our favorite campground had a vacancy, we decided to spend another day and just got home this afternoon.

As soon as I get the sand out of my clothes and some rest, I'm ready to go again!

And now to bed.....

I love the beach in the fall, but then again as my username implies...I love it 365 days of the year! :smile tee

It is also nice when we get to just stroll with our adult children, and agendas left at home.

Donna that is great you had a wonderful time. We are going camping this weekend. Hope the weather stays beautiful too. We used to go camping all the time but it has been about five years now, and now we are going. I'm pretty excited about it. Just getting out in the fresh air.

I think you do get refresh and then you are really to go at it again.
