When I first started having symptoms I had:

Nocturia
Dysuria
Hesitancy
Urgency
Frequency
Pressure
Pain ending after urination, starting on bladder filling

I started cystoprotek and now I have all of these to a lesser degree except my Nocturia is mostly gone. I awake maybe 1 or 2 x's at night without pain meds. My bladder is painful upon awakening though.

Can this happen with IC. That the nocturia improves. I was up 8-10 x's a night when it first started.

Has anyone else had this happen to them.

Thanks

Di

It can definitely improve with treatment. Is that what you're wondering - if the cystoprotek is helping that symptom? Sounds like it definitely could be. :) :) :) It's nice to get better sleep, huh?

Oh you bet it is if only my 20 yr old cat would stop meowing all night because he wakes me up and ultimately my bladdeer. GRRRRR!! I was a physical and mental mess, and didn't think my life would ever be the same again!! I am so greatful for the people who have had success, but still remain here to post to give us newbies advice. Without you I don't know what I would have done because Harry Carry seemed like an answer at one point!! The cystoprotek doesn't do much for my GERD, but I freeze it, and I don't see an alternative right now so I'll endure. Thanks a bunch!!!

Cats are funny little creatures, aren't they? We got our first kittens ever a few weeks ago - cute as a button, but they are awfully active at night. Luckily we sleep with a fan on so we don't really hear them.

Glad you are feeling so much better! It's amazing how much of a difference just getting a good night's sleep can make. :) :) :)
