Scheduled for Botox

I am scheduled to have Botox for bladder frequency. My doctor has informed me that it will not address my pain but I'll be happy if it quells the frequency. Has anyone who has had Botox shots into the bladder not had any effects at all? Or, minimal effects? My doctor said that I will feel positive effects immediately so I am really looking forward to it. The only option left is Interstim for me.
