Wow, I wish I lived closer! I'd come in a heartbeat, but under one condition...I don't know how far you are from the coast, but I absolutely loved the two and a half hour boat trip to Victoria that my husband and I took several years ago. What a beautiful place to have a meeting!!!

I'd be there in spirit if you managed to pull that trip together!>Tina

I'm very close to Eugene in Oregon. We have a beginning support group in our area --- and Portland has a group that has been meeting for several years. Their next meeting is in September I think.

I personally like the coast. Maybe one day we could meet there.

Sharon, I'll be moving out to the Key Peninsula by Gig Harbor, later this month, so we're not too far from each other!! Do you live near Port Townsend? I go there to catch the ferry over to Whidbey when I visit friends out there. Maybe we could get together and have a milkshake or something as I cruise through town sometime!!

Donna, I had no idea you lived so close!! I go to Lincoln City quite a bit. A friend of my family lives down there and loves it when my sister and I visit. She's older and all her grandkids live in North Carolina, so she kinda adopted us. hehe I really think we should have a Saturday picnic at a state park like in Cannon Beach or Westport or something. Right on the water. I love the ocean. It's so pretty, especially in the summer time. Where does the group in Portland meet and when?? I'll try to get my booty down there for one sometime.

I spoke with Jill and it looks like we just might be able to make it! We will have to look up where lake bay is we have never been there. We are heading north in August and in September. Jill is able to eat anything so the type of food no longer is a concern for her IC. Let us know the details and we will try our best to work them in around our schedule. It really sounds like fun. I love picnics.
It will be really nice to see some of the nice ladies I have spoken with on the phone.

Well, I was planning on going to Washington, b ut it turns out that I will not be. My husband has talked me into going to Fort Campbell KY with him. I am having arthrocentesis done on my jaw tomorrow am, then a hydro on the 20th. On the 22nd we will be headed to Kentucky! It is going to be a very long trip, but we will be together! I will just have to find some great ladies there.

I will be leaving for the hospital in an hour and a half to have a hydro done. My artherocentesis went ok. I just can't eat still.

This is going to be a very busy week...I have the hydro in a few hours, then on the 22nd we are driving 4 hrs to Boise for a wedding, then on the 24th back here, then on the 25th we are off to KY!!!! Its going to be fun recouping from surgery and taking care of 2 kids and driving so much! At least I have my husband to help a little.
