If I remember correctly it takes a couple of weeks for the Detrol to start working. You could call your Drs or pharmacy to dbl check. Hope it clicks in soon for you.

Does this usually help with needed to go the urgency and frequency? That is about the only symptom I have:toilet: . Does that still sound like IC or OAB?

I have take pyridum and another one can't think of the name right off hand but there are quite a few out there. The thing with pyridum is that your urine turns orange kinda interesting.. anyhow like others have said ask your doc they will know what to do.. goodluck

I agree that a phone call to your doctor's office is a good idea. The antispasmodic I prefer is hyoscyamine --- it's one of the older ones, but works very well for me.

Elavil helps me a lot with bladder and urethral spasms, it takes about two weeks to work full force, but you get some relief right away.

I take Hyoscyamine (Levsin) If I remember correctly, it takes a few weeks to kick in. ( I originally started using this for my IBS symptoms but only on occassions when needed. Now I take it 3 times a day.
