Hi Everyone. It seems that I get terrible flares a few days before I get my period. Does anyone else get this as well? Last night I must have ran to the bathroom at least 30 times.

Yes and Yes, birth control pills helpled me a little, but I know a lot of people have problems taking them. I took Yasmin because they didn't effect the diabetes blood sugar levels to bad (hormones will raise them, then have to adjust insulin higher). I took them the standard way and cont. for about 3 months, then had a period and took them for another three months cont. I couldn't tell that they helped much more taking them the standard way versus cont.

I am sure you will get more educational comments then mine on this subject. We have a wealth of knowlege on this board regarding birth control and hormones. This was just my personal experience. Best of luck.

I always had an increase of symptons prior or during my periods. I had a hysterectomy due to this and an excess of bleeding at 46.

Maybe treating menopause if you are in that age group may help. As if things aren't bad enough. I hope you feel better. :pray:
