Help!

Hi,

One and a half week ago I had bladderinstillations with heparine for 5 days. Two day's after I got home from hospital the pain became worse, well a bladderinfection (which was to be expected, happens evertime with a few day's of catherezation). Now since a few days the pain is zo bad, my painkillers don't do anything, a hot bath no use, I just don't know what to do with myself, feel like crying all the time. My belly looks completely blown up, there is this constant pain and also pain in the underbelly on the right, this stinging, throbbing pain, and the whole belly feels so painfull, feel like I have to go to the toilet all the time and no relief. I just don't know what to do. I have never had it this bad. Has anyone had this after being treated with heparine?

Have you seen a doctor about these symptoms? If not, I would suggest you do see one. You need to ask a doctor about all of this. :)

((((((Anouk)))))) I am so sorry you feel so bad. You really need to call your Dr. The instillations are designed to help. Not make you feel worse. I use the heparin every single day. I have NEVER hurt from them but some people are very susceptable to infections w/ cathing. You may need some antibiotics. Have you tried pyridium or something like that? I really hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the reply. yes I did get antibiotics and the infection I got after the instillations is gone, doctor checked the urine. I will see my urologist on the 3th of October and then I will hear what he is going to try next. I just wondered if it had to do with the instillations or just "bad luck". It could be triggered by anything or maybe because of the infection. It just makes you feel so powerless. Thanks again for the reactions.
